I stayed 2 nights at the Marina Bay Sands and was apprehensive about the next hotel. I needn't have been. The Pan Pacific was wonderful experience. Food was good, staff was very helpful and the room was beautiful!! I would absolutely stay there again!!

Great location and convenient for exploring the city. However, I had a serious safety issue during my stay. I was assigned a connecting room, and both connecting doors were left unlocked, allowing direct access to the adjoining room. Fortunately, it was unoccupied, but this could have been a major safety and privacy concern if another guest had been staying there. The staff did move me to another room promptly, which I appreciated, but this is not the level of attention to detail I would expect from a five-star hotel. Also, figuring out the hot water in the shower was surprisingly confusing. Overall, the location was excellent, but the safety oversight was disappointing.
