The worst place to stay at

The people is very kind, the place is an old big house with a nice pool, on the other hand, we were placed in a very small room, it was not a double room (as we had booked) , it hardly have a single bed for two people, no fan, no tv, no closet. we were placed between the garage and the kitchen, a lot of people making noise, so we could not stay there, we asked for a money refound and the gave us the money without the extra 5% that they charge for the credit card (they dont have to charge this to the customer). That was our experience, i dont recomend this place and i would never be there again, it was a big mistake. The worst hostal i have ever been and really expensive, it is a traveler hotel, in a gas station after the tebaida town, about 6 miles from there half of the price, tv, good service, just to stay the night, noise of the road the same as the other one, but not noise of the people.

do not make the same mistake

This is probably the worst hostal we stayed in during all our years of travel. I still do not understand why we choose it. This stand alone villa is aside of a busy road with constant traffic of heavy trucks also at night. Although the hostal has a nice pool and playing grounds, it is a nightmare to spend the night there. We were dumped in a small room wit a bed of 1,10m wide along the wall and 0,4m space to the other wall. The room gave to an open garage under the roof. This worked as a sound box of a music instrument multiplying the decibels of the night traffic. I am sure the owners never slept in this room!

Expédia n'a pas fait son travail....

Nous avions réservé cet hébergement en juillet et en arrivant sur place en décembre, le gérant est très étonné : il m'a montré les emails envoyés à expédia et restés sans réponse... Il disait que l hôtel était complet et qu expédia devait nous prévenir afin de trouver une solution. Ça n'a jamais été fait malgré les relances du gerant... C est inadmissible. Cette période de l année est très chargée à Armenia, et tous les hôtels étaient complets. Le gérant nous a gentiment laissé sa chambre, oú nous nous sommes entassés à 4. Il a été très sympa. Mais expédia vraiment lamentable. Nous aurions pu nous retrouver à la rue... L hôtel est très proche de l aeroport avec des parties communes propres et tous les services à disposition. Navette prévue pour l aeroport.

Things can and do get very hectic in Colombia. Our driving was greatly delayed, and to be honest, I doubt, even with GPS if we would have been savvy enough to get to this location. Please study Garmin prior to renting a car. Plus, partner noticed in fine print that this was probably a larger group style room and objected to it

Nice stay.

Out of town about 10 minutes but on a main road with easy bus into town. The place was tranquil and pleasant and Donny, the owner helpful. The included breakfast left something to be desired however. One egg, small sausage and white sandwich bread. It could have used some of the great fruit the area has to offer. You could have all the free coffee you wanted though.
