"I’m 81 and require a cane to traipse here and there. I cannot say anything positive about the room. It was not clean. The snow was not removed from the parking lot. I had to wade through it to get to my rides every day. It is not handicap-friendly. There’s a four- or five-inch rise from the walkway in front of the door to get into the room. If one isn’t alert, s/he will trip on it and land face-down in the room. The room’s lighting is atrocious. The appliances are of dubious value and use. There is no valid, detectable relationship/connection between the online pictures of the rooms the motel claims to offer and the room I got. I’ve lived in and traveled throughout Europe and the Far East during my life from the early 70s until the late 90s as a Department of the Army bureaucrat. With that experience, I think my use of the term “bait-and-switch swindle” would be deemed justified by all intelligent, educated, experienced, rational disinterested people. The toilet ran. I had to renew my electronic key twice to maintain access to my room. Some electric outlets worked and some didn't or worked only occasionally. Drunks and panhandlers routinely met in the space outside my room and a bit farther on (farther from the motel’s office) in the wee small hours. Before I left, I made an extensive list of the room’s drawbacks and shortcomings, but, because I’ve been hospitalized recently and am still in recovery, I haven’t access to those notes, much less knowledge of thei"
