"It was a great location. We did find the car park a little bit tight and tricky to get into (as the road was fairly busy when we arrived). The cottage was great and had all we were after and the downstairs bathroom was great for my elderly Mum. The two single beds mattresses were a bit past their best so the only thing I’d suggest to improve the property would be an update of those. Otherwise it was a great place to stay right on the river."

"A traditional Cumbrian house now guest house. Lovely building situated very close to Keswick centre less than 10 minutes walk. Lovely little room, the Myrtle. Very nice breakfast which is cooked to order. Specials options which are a welcome change from the traditional. Nice lounge with TV to relax. Staff are friendly and helpful. Pack lunches can be ordered and there are drinks and snacks available to be purchased throughout your stay. Car parking is on street and busy if lucky you may get some space near by to park on your arrival."

"Initially was a little bit put off by the car park when we turned up. The outside of the pub looks okay, but as soon as you get inside it has the old pub feel at the back of bistro feel so you can sit where you want. The staff that were working on the night when we stayed absolutely fantastic, couldn’t have asked for better Service with a smile and a joke. The bedrooms were okay but for the price, pretty good."

"Value for money…. The rooms are not the cheapest, but they are worth the money. From start to finish the say was perfect. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to welcome you. We wished we had stayed another night and will definitely come back. The food and selection for breakfast was great and they accommodated our miniature poodle throughout our stay with a special welcome basket on arrival. All in all a wonderful getaway, thank you."
