"The hotel is located in the CBD centre. It is very close to the Local food street market and the city centre. The rooms were very modern and all the amenities were provided. The area around Hotel is a bit dirty and lot of people smoking and drinking outside the building. Even though everything was good about the hotel, it is not convenient for a foreigner who doesn't know Chinese to locate the Hotel. There is no English Sign anywhere to indicate it's location. The Hotel exists on the 5th floor...

Would stay here again!

"The hotel was in a great location within walking distance of several tourist spots as well as five minutes to the metro. The room was a great size. I particularly liked the size of the bathroom and its layout. The staff were helpful and used translation on their phones to answer questions. The skylounge was nice for the view while having a cocktail or afternoon tea set. There is a luckin coffee attached to the property. I used the pool a few times. The only negative was the mattress was too firm. "

"We had the best stay at Somerset - hands down the BEST! They upgraded us to a 2-bedroom suite and it was enormous! The view of the Yangtze was magical. I didn’t want to leave the room - I just wanted to sit by the window and watch the river flow. Everything in the room worked perfectly. The beds were super comfortable. The pool is a major perk- so is the robot that delivers drinks and snacks. Definitely order something from the robot! I’ll always stay at this hotel when I’m in Chongqing. It honestly felt like home."
