"Only stayed for one night as we were travelling around the island. It was exactly as described and as I expected. Convenient location to the airport, blue bay and Mahebourg. Ideally you would need a car to get out of the resort and explore. Hotel has everything you need though. Big shopping centre 5 min drive away. "

"I had a wonderful experience at Solana Beach. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly — they made me feel at home straight away. "3rd year here in 1 bed apartment for month of March. Furniture is dated but entirely functional and everything you need is provided... fans, aircon, towels, fridge, microwave, kettle, gas rings, filtered water plus sufficient cooking utensils. Bedding changed every 3/4 days and cleaning by maids efficient. Accommodation is simple and basic in a good location for those on a budget. I look forward to returning again. "

"Lovely rooms , real ground coffee in the room ! Felt safe , lovely little touches around the property. If you don’t have a car you might be a bit limited but taxis are available. Plenty of parking at the hotel and car park outside. Breakfast was really good , "

"Lux Belle Mare was just simply amazing and perfect!! All levels of staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you! The food choices were really great and so many options for different cuisines. Chefs at each counter were really friendly and would make fresh pancakes or naan bread for you. We also dined at Amari by Chef Vineet Bhatia and this was also really great and so worth the visit! The beach was absolutely beautiful too, white sandy beach with lots of loungers. However the swimming pool would have been great with more loungers. We were celebrating our pearl anniversary and they gave us a few different treats that made it all feel very special. Would definitely recommend this beautiful hotel! Thank you to everyone at the Lux Belle Mare!"
