"We are regulars at this tourist hotel which tends to specialise in bus tours for foreign visitors and older travellers. We use it as a base to visit the Highlands north of Inverness and when we had our dog it was great as it is definitely dog friendly. In general the hotel is a little tired but the bus tourists certainly keep the numbers up. There is a very good Chinese restaurant and a pizza restaurant within walking distance if you want to eat out as the bus tours tend to fill the hotel restaurant. The staff are very helpful and there is often musical entertainment in the evening."
"Beautiful in every way! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and spacious, and the food was excellent. We loved the Green Lady Bar! We chose to attend the ghost tour, which was rich with history of the castle and the permanent residents that reside there. It’s a must stay for those who love comfort, hospitality, and history."
"Well by far the most bizaare check ins ever!!! The staff were lovely. The rooms were clean and comfortable. A few problems with checking in, we were given a key to a room already in use. But overall it was fine for a night.
Bar was noisy wnd rhere was a lot of banging which wadnt heloful with a 4am start.
Shame tou couldnt book without breakfast. "
"Stayed in the glorious junior suite overlooking Royal Dornoch's new clubhouse. Super breakfast and my hotel partner said it was the best filtered coffee he has had in a while. Highly recommend with convenience of the golf course. "
"Lovely lounge and bar area, staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious but needs a refurbishment, especially the bathroom and the water temperature fluctuates so not so good in the shower.
Fantastic breakfast, food cooked to order and plenty of choice."
"Check in was quick and easy, every staff member I spoke with was helpful and friendly, food was excellent and very reasonably priced, room was clean and tidy, only small downside is room was rather small as was the TV, but did nt take anything away from a pleasant stay "
