Gorgeous scenery and a laid back atmosphere is a great starting or stopping point when visiting Scotland’s Isle of Skye with so much to experience! (Nearby restaurants generally want reservations during the summer season.) Catch the ferry to North Uist and go back in time to enjoy its simplicity and stunning views, beaches, wildlife, meet some friendly locals and dine on traditional Scottish fare."

"This is evidently a popular spot in the community, as we saw a bridal shower and a baby shower when we checked in! The restaurant is very nice, and although we only had drinks and desserts, they were very good. It was also helpful for our travel plans that they offer a continental breakfast starting at 5AM, and the full breakfast a bit later. The only two minimal things that would have been great would have been a fridge in the room, and being able to open the window a bit wider. Otherwise, the hotel was nice and absolutely recommend."

"Had a great stay at Ambers cottage. Check in was smooth, cottage was clean and well equipped. Was not expecting the Four Seasons! Ambers cottage was a lovely get away in Skye - with beautiful vistas, nearby hikes. Hope to return one day."
