"We wound up arriving 90 minutes early and they were able to check us in anyway which was delightful. This is not a destination hotel and they don't pretend to be. it was a perfect place to stay while going and exploring Joshua Tree National park. it was clean, perfectly located, and had a good pool for colling off. The only real draw back was the WiFi got very slow as the hotel filled up and more people logged on. it very often failed for any kind of streaming for peak hours. Went to bed early and was well rested for the next day. Overall it was a win."

"Great view, rooms are dated and ours had a problem with ants. Pool was nice but not heated. Pool food and service was great. "

"Everything was clean and nice. The staff were excellent and cordial. It's not the most fancy of places, but it was quiet, peaceful, and clean and I coudln't ask for more on a relaxing trip to the desert."

"We loved our stay during Easter weekend, room was clean and spacious, staff was all welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed our time at the pool, the most sane chaotic family resort experience we have had thus far. We enjoyed the complimentary bikes, loved our dining experience at Tia Carmen- food was excellent. The cocktails at the bar were excellent. The pool food was pretty good for poolside service and came out quick. My only complaint would be that you must get up at the crack of dawn to find a pool chair as they are saved by families early in the morning and impossible to find if you arrive past 9am. We did get lucky after lunch time when a family left and booked a daybed for the following day to avoid this issue. I would say you must plan ahead if you want a comfortable spot by the pool when visiting on a busy weekend. Regardless we had an amazing stay and will definitely plan to come back soon as our son had an amazing time. "

"So many great things about this resort. It's a great location in the city, with grocery and shopping close by, and Palm Springs not too far. Tons of things to do within the resort. I brought my boys ages 16 - 20 and My daughter age 3, and there was stuff for all of them to do. 3 days was not enough... i think week would be perfect. The only DOWNFALL I had, was we checked in after a long drive followed by a hike in Palm Springs... so when we checked in, we were exhausted and just wanted to relax and during check in, they applied so much pressure to watch a 90 minute video for some free stays... i guess like a timeshare thing and I was just not interested but they kept pressuring. even later in the day, they called to pressure more. ITS TOO MUCH. That's the only reason why id never go back. I literally told them i was exhausted and told them no several times and they wouldnt stop"

"Room is simple, open closet, TV, small desk single bed. The shower head/handle was broken so it only worked as hand held. Sink is coming off wall and space covered with grout. Ice machine is only in the check in area, not one located in other buildings."
