"We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was as it was an older hotel. The pool was warm, the front desk area was really well decorated, as was the eating area for breakfast. The breakfast had a lot of options and was yummy. The rooms were very clean, the beds were cosy and the bathtub was spotless. Nice quiet relaxing hotel with large rooms."

"Check in was easy. Stayed 1 night in a room with two beds and a sofa bed. Room was big and spacious. Used the pool to tire the kiddos. Breakfast in the morning was just right. Waffles, cereal, fruit, juice, muffins, bagels, and of course coffee. Quiet area. If I'm ever driving through Arcata again, I will definitely stay there."

"The staff are friendly. The fireplace in the room was comfortable. The mattress was good. The pillow gave me a neck ache because of the lumpy filling. There was mildew on the bathroom wall next to the mirrior, which we wiped off with Clorox wipes from the front desk. The room was nice in size and layout. There was a slight perfume smell that i didnt like. The breakfast was the best part with sausage, eggs and waffles. Overall, this motel can level up with the freshness of the experience. It...

"We had so much fun here. The pool and hot tub were awesome. It was quiet and clean and the staff were very kind. Only problem was the toilet wasn't working well and then plugged. When we reported this, we were given 2 different dirty plungers to unclog it ourselves. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. "
