"The place is good for the price. It felt clean, and the shower and toilet worked fine. The beds were quite hard and duvet only a blanket, but all in good condition. Although itā€™s only a 4 minute walk from Pelourinho, we were told by locals and police that we had to take Uber home as soon as it got dark! In other words, the area is not safe at night. "

"Loved loved loved this hotel! The rooftop pool is definitely the biggest perk, especially for watching the sunset, and the bartenders (ask for Cristiano!) make amazing drinks. The breakfast buffet is excellent, the restaurant overlooking the ocean. And the car service up and down the hill is a great touch. The neighborhood is amazing and the staff is increĆ­ble. 10/10 would recommend!"
