"I don’t usually leave reviews, but the accommodations, staff and service were exceptionally excellent. My partner and I were here for a short getaway and I’m so glad we chose El Silencio. The food was top notch and there was a wide variety of activities to choose from. The hiking on the property was quite enjoyable and we loved the on property private waterfalls. The staff here were very attentive, friendly and helpful which made our stay here very pleasant. I would highly recommend El Silencio...

Our stay at Kaluma Villas was very nice. We used this as our home base for exploring La Fortuna. It's a newer complex of villas about a 15 minute drive from the bustle of town. The chalet was clean, well equipped and welcoming. The living area is quite small, but bedrooms are large and very comfortable. The pool and patio area is a nice plus. Security is good and we felt quite safe during our stay. This is an ideal spot for 2 couples exploring the area and seeking a quiet respite outside of La Fortuna. "
