Initially, we were worried by the damp / musty smell in the reception area but the room was nothing like that. It was clean, cool (air conditioning in the room) and the room was cleaned well when needed. 2 shared the bed and 2 shared the pullout couch - not a bad pull-out mattress. "For our last night in Italy, we wanted to stay in a snazzy hotel not far from the Colosseum and Termini station. This hotel is wonderful! Our room was comfortable and had a terrace. The whole place looks sharp, including the staff. The buffet breakfast is wonderful, with a dizzying selection of food, fruit, and juices. We absolutely plan to stay at the Palace again!"

"The hotel overall was excellent and exceeded expectations. The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The location was perfect we were able to get around Rome easily. We would book a stay here with a doubt. The problem once again came with Expedia. They messed up our reservation and we almost lost it. I will not be using Expedia to book future travel and will tell others not to use Expedia. "
