The Read House Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown, Bridgeman’s Steakhouse was so good. The hotel was hosting a prom so lobby was extremely crowded. "

The Park Vista - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Gatlinburg
8/10 Good
"Great location, pool was wonderful for kids.
Would have been nice to know about the trolley in Gatlinburg, it’s free and easy to use. We didn’t know about it till the end of our stay.
Hotel is in a good location, has beautiful scenic views! Hotel is on a really steep long hill, so there is no walking to anything.
Rooms are very nice, but poor lighting.
There is an extra fee at desk with check in, cost was higher than it was with hotels.com.
Additional parking fee also added, which we were aware of prior to arrival."

Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown
4/10 Poor
"Dirtiest nice hotel. We stayed 4 nights. First we arrived and valet was $125 a night when we booked based on the $42 price on the website. Then they had valet at a separate parking garage and gave us the incorrect address to locate it. 40 minutes later we arrive at the separate garage and the attendants are swearing loudly at each other requesting a luggage cart for us. Check in people were kind and upgraded our room but moved us from the requested river view without telling us. We were excited about the room, but it was disappointing because of how unkempt it was. Stains on ceiling and bathroom. Ceiling by window covered in cobwebs and peeling paint. Stains in the mattress and no mattress cover. We found clothing from the last people who stayed. Outlets were loose and sparked when attempted to use. Very disappointing in terms of cleanliness. "

RiverStone Condo Resort & Spa
4/10 Poor
"The main concern is that you have hot tub and pool in the Expedia page and yet those amenities are unavailable for repairs for a long time. The issue was fixed for me with the removal of the resort fees during our stay, but as of 04-26, several days after I reported the problem, the Expedia page still has the wrong information. That constitutes mis advertisement, and it's hard to trust Expedia after this experience. Now, I want to be fair: In general, was the staff courteous and friendly and the room clean and comfortable? Yes. I must say I was upgraded to an apartment and can't say what the normal rooms look like. The apartment was very nice, even if too large for our needs. One final concern: we were told we were "already paying for a cleaning fee", which sounded strange - I have seen taxes, and resort fees, but not cleaning fees when one does not require any extra cleaning other than normal cleaning after one leaves the room. I'm uncertain of whether I was charged such "fee," as I haven't yet received the final receipt by email, two days after checking out from the room."
