"The trip was beautiful for me and my wife’s first time visiting Pittsburgh together. The hotel is definitely near all sightseeing destinations. Very busy location, of course the weekend we went there was a lot of events going on. Our first room smelled like mildew, but after talking to the front desk lady, we were moved to a bigger and better room. The view of the courtyard and water fountain was beautiful. We didn’t try the restaurant on site, but the coffee shop (Starbucks) employees were very friendly and even remembered my wife’s coffee order within the short time we were there. We self-parked but they do have valet and they were helpful and friendly as well with our luggage and giving us directions to the parking garage. Overall rate for our anniversary vacation was 9/10, we would definitely recommend staying there."

"This is an issue that is my own making, my wife is partially disabled, she has difficulty walking long distances. With that in mind I should have asked for a room closer to the main entrance. We had to walk approximately 1/4 mile from the lobby to our room one way. This took a big toll on her. As I stated this was my fault. However this issue was the hotel's concern, the room was great, it was large, clean, all the amenities you would need with the exception of a decent bed and pillows. The bed was hard and lumpy. The pillows, well let's say I would not even donate them to Goodwill, they were that bad. The staff was excellent and very helpful ."
