"Regular double room was super clean and spacious. Great amenities for the price. Breakfast was average contential but was great. Wish they had more than half and half for coffee creamer, and if that's my only complaint, then I can't really complain. It was just a quick in and out one night stay for us, it made me wish we had restructured our road trip to spend a longer day there to enjoy the hot tub and pool on the water."

"Overall pleased, and would stay there again. But as I suspect many other people have mentioned, parking is a problem if you have more than one car or a trailer. If you do, you will probably need to find someplace else to park it, and at your expense. And ironically, they have floating boat docks that are free to use for paid hotel guests, but if you tow your boat or canoes or kayaks or jet skis to this location, you will need to pay $25 a day to Pete’s Pier and Marina to store them in the grassy lot behind the motor lodge. The lodge staff is reasonable when it comes to pulling in with your trailer to load and unload things from your vehicle or boat to your room, but they’re pretty quick to tell you that you have to move the trailer if you are not loading and unloading. I’m pretty sure the $25 fee to park in the grassy lot includes the daily fee to use the boat ramp at Pete’s Pier and park there too, and I believe they charge $20 a day for just that even if you’re not staying at the Kings Bay Lodge. So if you plan to use their ramp every day and park over there every day, I guess you could say it only cost you an extra five dollars to park in the grassy lot per day. On the other hand, if you’re at the Lodge for a week or more and you only plan to use the ramp at Pete’s Pier on your first and last days, then yeah, you’re paying $25 a day to park in a grass lot most if the days. But in the end, the total cost including the parking charge was reasonable. "

"Parking was easy, and the room was clean but we couldnt adjust the thermostat so it was a bit warm at first. We were aware of the renovations but our TV was out which we not advised about. The walls are incredibly thin. You can hear your neighbor as if they were in the same room. The voices in the hallway carry, too. The view of the canal and river are lovely. "

"Easy parking, close to the springs, good breakfast for kids but not a lot of choices for vegetarians and vegans. "

"Great bay view, great front desk help. Hotel was a definite 1 star only. Everything is dated OLD. Lots of repairs needed throughout room and property. Bedding was clean so no complaints there. Pricing was a little high for a 1 star hotel with limited amenities. Paying for the view."

"Beautiful courtyard with huge oak tree shading tables. Property right beside a park with kayak and other water craft rentals and a pier where people fish. Property was extremely clean. We enjoyed the eclectic art and design. Would stay here again. "
