"We arrived to the location that was stated in our booking. After many hours of driving we encountered the address that was provided by the hostel. It was difficult to locate this place since there was no clear sign or any other indication that we arrived at our accommodation. "Okay, so this hotel probably hasn't been updated since the 1980s. It reminds me of some places I stayed in St Petersburg in the early post-Soviet years. The halls smell very strongly of cigarettes (but my room did not). Okay, so they reuse the same key card for each room, and they even reuse the same little laminated folder to keep them in…the one I had was heavily used. "Despite turning up late we were able to call and get instructions to get into our room. The room itself was lovely and we had action to the kitchen to make use of the fridge and freezer which enabled us to chill drinks ready for another hot day travelling the next day."
