The bungalows are well appointed with excellent air conditioning (much needed), the grounds are filled with interesting plants having been designed and planted by the owners and everything is immaculate. The bar and restaurant area are imaginately designed and the menu delivered by a talented young chef they lured from Tana. He has his own ideas based on Malagasy and international cuisine and quite frankly, having spent 7 weeks in Mada, it’s the best food...

"Great location on the beach. Close to town. Food good, staff friendly. Great value for the price. Beach looks great but not very accessible at low tide - long way out across mud flats, but good at high tide. Pool good and clean."
