"We loved the hotel! Its location and views are absolutely to die for. I could have spent our whole trip in the pool just taking in the views and enjoying the serenity. The staff were amazing. We did make one mistake , when you check in they offer you half board at 20 euros a person for a 3 course dinner but you have to do it for your entire stay. We opted not to and ate at several other restaurants which did not have the views , the service , the ambience or the quality of the food at the odyssey. So don’t make the same mistake we did!!"

"We stayed in the Ammos suite which was beautiful and had direct views of the sea on 2 sides of the property. Staff were very helpful especially the Operations Manager, Vasilis. Rooms were exceptionally clean. It would have been helpful to have things like salt and pepper, foil etc. In the kitchen but the cupboards really are bare. Nearest supermarket is in Sami, 25 mins walk, but there is a great bakery 5 mins away sells big bottles of water in a six pack. There is also a great restaurant called Tou Kokopa a few mins walk away which is excellent."

"Aphrodite is a doll. The place is perfectly situated in agia effimia. The water pressure is insane and that’s a luxury in Greece. Great pool. Awesome spot. Going again."

"The accommodation is well-situated, within walking distance of both the beach and Melissani Lake. There are some sports courts just behind the property that seem free to use, and the bakery next door is fabulous. The local beach was one of our favorites; while it might not have the dramatic beauty of Myrtos or Fteri, it is definitely the coolest beach in Kefalonia. The cold water from Melissani Lake flows into the sea here, creating a refreshing cold top layer. We really appreciated this in the July heat, and there is often a fresh breeze, too. The flat is a good size, clean, and well-furnished. The air conditioning works well, though you can't set the temperature below 23°C (which, to be fair, is cool enough). The only annoying bit is that after a while, the temperature resets itself up to 25°C or 26°C on its own. The owners are great, very helpful and even let us borrow a beach mat and a parasol, which was an absolute lifesaver!There's a couple of restaurant within walking distance which we haven't tried. Sami is only 5mn drive or 30mn walk by the beach and offer plenty choices. I'd definitely recommend this place."

"Panos and his wife wet were excellent hosts. They were very friendly and most helpful. The room was cleaned every day, had a small but adequate (for us) tv and a lovely, quiet air conditioning unit. A 5 minute walk or 10 minute stroll to the harbour and the tavernas. Located up a little bit of an incline but I managed it well enough even while carrying a weeks supply of water for 2 and I’m 68."

"We had a wonderful stay in the ground-floor studio at Ballas Apartments. The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. Highly recommend this lovely place for a stay in Kefalonia!"

"The staff is amazing, rooms are very clean. The semi private patio on all the rooms are very nice. Enjoyed the kitchen having everything you need to dine in and feel like home. Would highly recommend this property. It is very close to everything you need to have a nice relaxing holiday. The staff is very helpful with any need you may request as well."
