"I upgraded to a room in the main bldg & had a great view with a balcony. The room was big, the bed comfortable & the beautiful view out to the south. The staff was very accommodating. The 2 minor negatives for me was the dinner menu didn’t have the German fare I was hoping for (that said, the rump steak was delicious!) & breakfast was not up to the par of most nice hotels I've stayed at in Germany. They didn’t even have the wonderful pastries I love in this country. But there are plenty of options for dinner & breakfast very close to the hotel."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. We were joyfully welcomed by the staff who provided excellent instructions to walk (~ 10 minutes) to the Rothenburg village. Our room was clean and pleasant. The staff was so kind to provided us with a small pot of coffee to enjoy in our room before breakfast. And the breakfast buffet was wonderful with many high quality selections. I would highly recommend this hotel!"

"Such a nice hotel! Very pretty inside and the rooms are huge! They gave us a welcome drink and we enjoy the back garden sitting area. Within a 1-2 minute walk of the market square. I would absolutely recommend staying! "
