"The staff was great but this is definitely not a full service hotel...it has a ton of character as it's in an old manor house with very pretty grounds and close proximity to the water. Great breakfast and comfortable enough but it would be nice if there were a bar/restaurant in the hotel - while the closest restaurant is probably a 20 minute walk away, it's not really walkable. "Carlos at the front desk was amazing! He went out of his way for his, even running next door to make a reservation for us for dinner. He was very engaging and we had a fantastic conversation with him during our stay. The room was so beautiful with a fantastic attention to detail. We used both the hot tubs and steam and sauna as well. The breakfast buffet was just ok, so we ordered an omelette, which was good. We had a great stay."

"Great location and view (king room suite), though parking is off site on street. Pool is not heated though was never used by anyone when I was there in April. Great breakfast spread- toast and omelette fixings, yogurt and fruit. Responsive staff to requests for help. Was a slight problem with a bathroom odor they tried to fix. Overall great stay."
