I had to call down to have them come up and fix things. The worst though was a shower that didn't work. "This is the BEST affordable hotel I have found in Mandalay - I've tried at least 10. The facilities are very nice; the staff is excellent; the porters/bell boys are helpful without pushing; it is the shortest travel time I've had getting back to the airport; looking very forward to my return to Paragon next week! Pros: New hotel (Oct 2019), clean, quiet location. Good breakfast. Nice view of the area from room. Pool and bar area on roof was nice.
Con: Bit of a walk to anything. Restaurant slow to replace food at breakfast, and not enough tables for everyone during the breakfast rush. Because it is new, some taxis and tuk-tuks (thone-bane) did not know the location. Roof bar not always staffed with a bartender."
