"So my wife and I were just passing through the area, so we just had 1 quick night in Ottowa. I searched for somewhere to make the stop as memorable as possible, and I think I nailed it. It was a very busy Saturday evening when we arrived. The valet made quick work of our vehicle. The front desk checked us in super fast so we made our way up to the room. We opted for a basic room, just 1 king bed. Well the rooms are super nice. Bed super comfortable, bathroom very clean and updated. Did not partake in any of the snacks or drinks as we were heading out for a dinner reservation. Restaurant was a close walk, but it was raining out so we went to talk to the concierge. They supplied us with umbrellas to keep us dry, as the restaurant was close enough to not warrant anything but walking. Upon return, we had leftovers from our dinner. The room did not have a refrigerator we could store anything as it was stacked with goodies. Spoke to the concierge again, without hesitation the took the food and stored it for us until check out. I must say I could have talked with those folks all night. They were such a pleasure to chat with and just super helpful. The girl running the cafe in the morning was doing the job solo, and it was really busy, but she did so with a smile on her face the entire time when I guarantee she was a bit overwhelmed. I will definitely be visiting Ottowa again one day so I can spend more time there, and will surely be staying at the chateau!"

"The hotel is very central, 2-3 minutes walk to CF Rideau Centre. It is at walking distance from the Parliament Hill. Tons of food and shopping options. The front desk staff were friendly. Good room service. The large pool was a plus. We'll definitely prefer to stay here again when visiting Ottawa. "
