"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Just getting to the hotel (over a narrow mountain road) was an adventure in itself, but it was well worth it. The fisherman's cabin was cozy and comfortable, with all amenities included. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and there was a lovely little restaurant which served both traditional Norwegian dishes (such as fish and reindeer) but also some very good vegan dishes (which was quite an unexpected surprise). "The room is big and clean. The family room I booked has microwave, kettle, plates and silverware. The price is reasonable. Supermarket, restaurants, walking streets, and bus station are all around at the corner. The location is right in the city. There is no reception. Check the email for the code to enter the hotel and the room. No ac but no need to worry about it. I went in August which is their summer but it’s cold like fall in NY. The heater was on! No free hotel parking. We got lucky park next to the hotel on Sunday which is free in Norway. The other day I believe you have to download certain app to pay for it since Norway is very digital and cashless mostly. Otherwise, I saw the parking building for a fee next door. All in all very good value"

"Great place to stay in Andenes. The place looks pretty new. We stayed in a mini-suite, good size and very clean. The things may need improvement is vegan food was advertised for breakfast, but not much to eat. The bed was so soft that I had to sleep in the floor with the mattress pad only and felt much more comfortable."

"The dining room has great views, food good for both breakfast and dinner, saved having to go out looking for places to eat. 5 mins walk from town centre and ferry terminal. 1 min walk from bus for Evenes airport(50 mins trip). Bedroom good size and good amenities, mine did not have good views but pay more and get the stunning mountains. Great bathroom with the heated floor of course. No fridge."
