"it's obviously a new hotel built in a condo style. Rooms are large with nice seating area, small kitchen, good bedroom and hot shower/bath.
The swimming pool is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful. they don't all speak English. Breakfast is good but it's in another building and on 2nd floor with no lift.
Area is quiet and it's not close to the attractions or 7-11. However if you have a car or bike it's really not a problem.

The only thing I had a problem is was the shower had hot water, but it wasn’t really hot like I like it, but I am from America so I am used to certain things. In the bed was pretty firm and I like a super comfortable bed as far as a pillow top. Other than that, the resort was very beautiful and I slept better...
"We only needed this place for a quick sleep as our flight landed at midnight. Room was clean and big, bathroom really needs so love, it was dirty and needed Reno's.
But great sleep for the price and they were able to leave the key for us for our late check in"

The joy of my first trip to Chiang Mai is still there, but it's already been almost a month.
I'm a team leader in a service industry. I was already looking forward to Shangri-La's strict service because I had experience using Cebu Shangri-La, but the Shangri-La I felt this time was the best.
The kindness and consideration of Ms. Piano, the lobby, and the front staff, who were lounge duty, touched me as well and made me feel all comfortable in the hotel.
Everyone in my team listens to my love and praise in Chiang Mai and everyone is preparing for the trip to Chiang Mai. Shangri-La was the best and the most meaningful place in Chiang Mai.
