"Sadly it is currently a building site. It is difficult to enjoy a place when all you can hear are noisy machines and workmen banging. My room wasn't ready when I arrived so I was made to move part way through my holiday. My terrace was overlooked by workmen on scaffolding so I couldn't relax outside. The room had poor sound proofing and every morning I was woken just before 7am to the noise of reception/cleaning staff arriving. "Amazing stay - property, beach, staff, and food. Loved it! The staff is incredible, making the experience even better. Location is about 15 mins cab ride from old town. The room itself is normal sized for European standards, the toilet/shower is a bit small. Sink is in the middle of the room (Cretan style). Definitely get the daily breakfast, delish! Pool and beach sun beds amazing. But the experience and staff was truly memorable - would recommend and stay again for sure. "
