"Everything you would want in a room was provided. The bed and small couch were very comfy. Cozy seating outside was so appreciated after day of exploring. The owner gladly provided instructions on how to make pour drip coffee! We can’t think of anything that would have made our stay more enjoyable."

Expedia double booked us at the ponderosa inn.
We arrived in at the ponderosa in escalente at 8:45pm. Expedia gave us the room code and we opened the door and there were other guests in the room.
I called archie the property owner and explained the situation. He confirmed that there was another booking for the room and expedia did not notify him of our booking.
He was able to get us a room in another of his properties. He went above and beyond to help us even though it caused him to have to get a room ready and deal with booking us in at 9 to 10 at night. "
