"We drove cross country and back over a two week period & this hotel was by far the best we had stayed at during our trip. The room was clean and comfortable, it had in-room amenities including a coffee pot, a bathroom fan (high on our priorities list), comfortable seating, updated decor, good complimentary breakfast near the lobby, and overall a nice atmosphere. Front desk was friendly, personable & accommodating. Only downside was the parking situation, and that it's kind of off the beaten path, but overall it's 5 stars and we'd definitely stay here again."

"What a fabulously beautiful old hotel. I would spend the few extra dollars and stay in the hotel just for the view of the city!! Go to the main floor and sit in one of the overstuffed couches and leaf through a book in the library. Nothing cheesy about this hotel."

"Our room was clean. Our shower got water ALL over the floor- nothing we did. We appreciated the breakfast vouchers, and beverages in the fridge, coffee in the room would have been nice. The walls were really thin! Loved the decor and the history and the location was very walkable."

"The room was very clean as it looked like it was recently remolded. It was very nice to have 2 bathrooms. However, there was not any ice on the premises and that was bad because we were going golfing that day and only had what came out of the faucet. The facility was in an industrial area, so had a little bit of a hard time finding it. But overall it was really nice & clean. It was a little weird not actually picking up a key & talking to someone. I was texted the door code and that’s how we got in. We hadn’t experienced anything like that before."

"The lodge was very unique. They are an off grid property, thus, no WiFi. Our cabin was rustic which means you need to leave the room to get to the restroom/shower. Glad we brought headlamps."
