"Came here for family weekend for my child who attends UAlbany. Chose this hotel due to the location and the great reviews on room, cleanliness, staff, breakfast and the fact there was an in door pool for my toddlers! Check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was good fresh and plentiful for a continent style breakfast all included. The hotel was clean and updated and beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Pool was clean and we were the only ones using it Saturday morning after breakfast. I would stay here again if coming to visit in the future. Staff was amazing especially the breakfast staff. Thank you all! "

"The amsterdam castle is uniquely decorated and steeped in history. Vety helpful staff and so friendly. Stars Cafe a local diner was great for breakfast or lunch. The ambiance and welcoming vibe had us stop again after leaving lake George We will stop again at the hotel if we are able. "

"I appreciated there was free shuttle to the airport at 4:00 a.m. in the morning. Everything was clean, but it is an older hotel so everything looked outdated and dark in the rooms"
