Fabulous breakfast. Room was modern and clean. Staff friendly. Location is quite close to a main tram line - side note - it is about 30min by tram to get to old town/Dam Square Amsterdam, so if times transport there is important to you then this may not be the hotel for you. If you’re willing to spend some commuting time in exchange for fewer $$ spent on a room, this is a great place.

6/10 Okay

Disliked: Amenities
The hotel was ok. I appreciate it's a budget hotel, but not providing a kettle for the room is poor, especially when you can then pay €3 for a drink down by reception in a small paper cup. The 3 single beds we had all had 2 toppers on, these slid around lots and meant that you had sheets all over the place. Better actual mattresses would have been appreciated. There was no storage at all in our room again, for 3 people it was poor. The TV didnt work when I tried it and there was no safe. Decent location on many levels with some nice parks and running routes close. There's an ok shopping centre just south with some decent amenities. Tram station about 100m away.

For the price, this is a great place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable - I hired a bike for 2 days which was a great way to get around. Although there is a table and stool in the room, this isn’t great for working at, but was fine for short meetings. The drains in the bathroom didn’t smell great, but closing the bathroom door made that ok.

Convenient place to stay with a tram stop close by, also relatively cheap compared with other hotels in Amsterdam, but the rooms are small, mine didn't have a chair or table. We had a comfortable stay which is good.
