Great option for a short stay in the city and only a short walk down the canals to the centre, 10/15 minutes tops. Staff were amazing and the cafe/bar across the road is a great spot for a beer
The beds are dreamy soft! Sounds of morning bird song was beautiful, open the windows! Everybody super friendly and helpful. Convenient bus stop few minutes away. Lovely surrounds, great hotel & location, would definitely stay again!
It’s in a great location, however the hotel rooms were very small and tired.
We had a double room which was two single beds pushed together and they were not very comfy. That being said the staff were all fantastic, the hotel was clean and we would stay again due to the location.
Good hotel room, booked double bed but it was just 2 single beds pushed together so wasn’t the best sleep.
You can hear every single thing outside and in the corridors so keep that in mind too
The room was spotless, but you literally can see the people walking and gym across the window, the room is ground level you might hear people walking and talking right outside. However everything else is great. Nearby tram and Albert Cuyp market, and De Pijp! Fun location.
The lobby is lovely, slightly misleading. Rooms are slightly dated now, dusty, window didn't lock properly so the blind slammed/ be aware if you face the street its noisy at night- asked to move and they couldn't move us. For the price it's not worth it. Be prepared to lug luggage up four flights of stairs/ lift doesn't work and even if it did it fits one person- claustraphobically small. Good location though- that's the only perk.
Outstanding customer service, beautiful clean room with everything you might need, vibrant style and appearance, close and efficient transport system, hotel staff went extra mile to dress the room for my partners birthday. Had the best holiday. Would love to stay here again.
Hotel was ideally located close to tram and tube. It is walkable to Dam Square. Rooms are basic but have everything you need. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok.
Good staff, breakfast, clean room was good.
I didn`t like the size of the room too small, however no problems

This is an older, very basic hotel, but in expensive Amsterdam, a reasonable price for what it is. The room was clean and adequate and the staff were responsive to deal with issues such as the bathroom sink draining sluggishly and problems with the room safe. Good location for restaurants, shopping, near museum quarter, with a trolley line right in front.

Disliked: Cleanliness
the staff was great and the location was amazing. our room had an odor that came from the bathroom. i hesitated to mention it hoping it would go away but it persisted. i think it’s one of the sewage drains, it smelled like rotting mold or dirty sewage in the bathroom which made it difficult to use it as often as was needed. we made due with what we had and appreciated the customer service. I wish the room was vacuumed. a lot of dust accumulated under the bed.
Beautiful hotel, conveniently located. Walking distance from several places of interest as well restaurants and caffès and well connected in terms of public transportation. A handwritten note in the room as a welcome is a really nice detail, specially if you’re 7 thousand km away from home
