Very cozy hotel, for us it was perfect because we needed a room for three adults. We got a room with very comfortable beds and a mini kitchen with all we needed to cook. A store nearby for food and drink supplies. We had a great time and the staff was nice and helpful, all of them but a special mention for Casper.

I cannot believe how cheap this place is, honestly it should be twice the price for the location and the ambience of the hotel. Sure the room isnt massive, but who cares if youre in the city center. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a really nice neighborhood, very walkable and it’s just a short distance to the center of the city. The hotel itself however is way past its prime and needs a renovation. The walls/doors are also super thin and you can hear all of your neighbors.

Nice little hotel on the tram line

I was on my own and the small twin room was perfect. The street it faces was a bit busier than I expected but the fan provided in the room created a nice distraction. The staff were fantastic! One note- the stairs are no joke- very steep! This would not be a suitable place for anyone that is unable to climb steep stairs.

This property is in a great location. Lovely neighborhood. Lots of dining options. Our room was spacious but not in great condition. Curtains were falling off the tracks. Terrible smell when we arrived. Bathroom is in rough shape. Limited utensils in the kitchen.

To start with the good: The location is excellent, the staff are friendly, and my bed was comfortable. The room price is also good for this part of Amsterdam, Unfortunately there is plenty to disappoint with the hotel. The personnel at reception were unable to correctly issue me with a key card for my room, twice. The entrance area, stairs and landings were not clean, with stained carpets and dirt on the floor. I stayed for 5 nights and not once was my room cleaned, my bed made, my towels changed, or my toiletries refreshed. Although there was a kettle in the room, there was no tea or coffee. The room was mostly clean but there were multiple stains on the walls.

Would not return

Honestly I would not return. The staff was nice, and the room was very big and even had a small garden. However, first of all there was no parking option despite it being advertised. Secondly, the bathroom in our room simply didn’t function. We could not flush the toilet (not even toilet paper!) and it was constantly dripping from one of the sinks as we could not close the tap. (It was dripping even when we entered the room, it clearly needed a repair). I think the room has good potential and a nice location however I cannot give a higher rate due to this vital malfunction in the room.
