"Fabulous stay at the Ostria Apartments. We stayed for three nights in the Executive Room which had a large terrace with sun beds, sofa, table and umbrella. All the exceptionally clean rooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard and they all have fabulous views of the bay. Dimitris, the owner was a brilliant and generous host throughout, arranging taxis etc. He also runs an excellent drinks and snack bar next to the pool. "The expectation was of a 4star apartment.The reality was a basic 2star! I realise it was a Cretan style building & have no problem with that but a few modern touches and some comfortable loungers etc would be nice.Crete is lovely and the people very friendly so we enjoyed our stay overall just not the hotel."

"The hotel is absolutely amazing! The lobby has a huge bar instead of a checkin counter. You are able to sit on a comfortable couch and the staff comes to you for checkin. Service is just outstanding and the rooms are large and extremely clean. Breakfast is out of this works and the hotel has a beautiful beach. Located in one of the most exclusive towns, Elounda in Crete."
