"We enjoyed our stay at ILO. The kids loved it too. The pools are really nice, there are some safety regulations that may need to be considered in and around the pools. The steps into the pools are too deep and often people fall there. The vibe at the pools were a lot of fun, the restaurants were great. The service was great. "The hotel staff were great. Kind and friendly and most spoke English, so that was very helpful for me. The room was great. Only complaint was the shower doors were grinding on the floor when opening and closing, so it made a loud screetch everytime. My view from the room was spectacular. There are some bars and restaurants close by. I felt safe the whole time walking alone at night, but it is through some dark and dirty streets with the homeless around. But this might not be a good option for women traveling alone and wanting to walk everywhere. However, i felt really safe."
