We had a great stay at the UrbanLoft. Staff were helpful and spoke English, check in was quick, the rooms were comfortable and the free coffee was a great bonus. We would stay there again if in Koln.

I chose the hotel because it's less than 10 minute walk from the train station and that the staff speak English. Wonderful staff. Two complaints about the room. The safe was too small for my laptop. It fit in there, but the door wouldn't close. Also there it no house phone in the room. A lot of foreigners don't have a phone/data package so it would have been nice to have a way to reach reception without walking downstairs. I never did find the rooftop or gym. I followed the signs, and then they just stopped at the end of a hallway.

Fantastic location to visit the landmarks and so close to the station.The room could have benefited with little bit of storage, no cupboards hooks in the bathroom and tea/coffee facilities!
