Nice small hotel. The only problem here is the after hours check in. If you coming late the hotel doors are closed, staff is no longer on the property. If you have a German cell phone you should call the owner, if you don't you are in trouble.

Caution when booking this property through Expedia. We traveled to Germany from the United States, and when we arrived there, they did not have our reservation. After finding someone to speak English, she was able to locate the reservation, however, they were not prepared for our arrival. It seemed to be an inconvenience for them that we were there. We asked about a lift/elevator to get our luggage up to the room on the third floor. We were told they had an elevator, however, the elevator only went to the second floor, and we had to take some steep spiral staircase up to the third-floor, and had to haul our heavy luggage up to the third-floor by ourselves, which included my 73 year old mother. We were not happy that help was not offered to move our luggage to our room. We left early the next morning to move onto our next travel location, and there was no one at the front desk to check us out. We waited around, then finally left. Positives: Parking was close to building Room was clean Beds were comfortable

Sehr sauber und sehr höflicher und freundlicher Hotelmanager. Nicht mehr neu aber sehr gut gepflegt. Das Bett war sehr bequem und das Zimmer war sehr groß. Ich kanns empfehlen

Günstiges schönes Hotel in zentrale Lage

Wir haben das Hotel für einen Radausflug mit Freunden in das Müsterland für zwei Übernachtungen genutzt. Der Check-in und Check-Out war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Es sind ausreichend Parkplätze direkt am Haus vorhanden. Wir konnten am Abreisetag netterweise unseren PKW bis zur Beendigung unserer Radtour noch stehenlassen. Dies ist ja auch nicht die Regel. Unsere E-Bikes wurden sicher im hinteren Teil der Hotelhalle untergebracht. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet - wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon. Die Zimmer im Altbau sind auch gut, aber haben keinen Austritt. Durch die angrenzende Bahnlinie sollte darauf geachtet werden, dass man ein Zimmer nach vorne und nicht zu den Gleisen erhält. Uns hat der Bahnverkehr nicht wirklich gestört, aber für empfindliche Menschen, ist die Lage sicherlich nicht optimal. Durch die gute Anbindung ist Münster sehr schnell zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war sehr günstig und außerordentlich gut. Wenig Plastikmüll - Obst, Saft, Wurst, Gemüse wurde nett in Gläsern und Geschirr angerichtet. Die Innenstadt von Altenberge ist nach einem 10-minütigem Fußmarsch durch ein Wohngebiet gut zu erreichen. Die Umgebung gibt für Radler oder Wanderer viel her - die Beschilderung ist gut und die umliegenden Orte sehenswert. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen...

Völlig unakzeptables Zimmer. Total unter dem Dach. Kein Zimmerservice , obwohl Schild "Bitte Zimmer aufräumen " über Stunden zu sehen war. Laut!!! Morgens ggn. 7 Uhr knalten die Türen.... Frühstück ging. Abner nur unfreundlichen Leuten von Seiten des wenigen !!!! Personsls begegnet
