Explore over 116 runs connected by 11 lifts and be rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Alta Ski Resort has equipment rental facilities and a ski school. In the warmer months, be sure to explore Alta’s beautiful surrounding National Forest with a hike or scenic drive along the region’s network of trails. Alta is a small village with a handful of lodges, condos, restaurants and shops. Stay at the mountain base lodges or rent a pretty chalet. Further lodging can be found in Salt Lake City, located a 45-minute drive away. Public buses connect the two regions via a scenic byway.
