"Set in gorgeous surroundings, the field barn has everything you need for a rural retreat. It was always warm (something which we considered before booking it for our December stay) and we felt at home right away. Beds were clean and comfortable. "The reception and cleaning staff were very helpful. The hotel decor is rather dark and dated. The lift was out of order so I had to go up 6 flights of stairs to my room. The fire/room doors do not have a soft close option so you are often disturbed. Walls are fairly thin, voices/tv can be heard through them. Breakfast was adequate, I have had better. Rooms are a good size, with plenty of towels/toilet roll (1 ply), tea and coffee. Very good size tv."
