Only thing that let the room down was the creeky floor of the whole room that gave the impression to the occupants below and led to a complaint from reception that we were stomping about when in fact we had no shoes on at all! This then made us anxious when we moved around the room which was unfortunate and slightly soured our overall experience."

"Lovely hotel. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I felt a little put out at our treatment or lack of in the hotel restaurant. We were the only brits in a room full of Germans and French. Every single other table were brought a basket of bread whilst waiting for their food and given a free dessert at the end of their meal, even if they’d already had a dessert like we had. It unfortunately marred my stay a little. "
