"This was a nice wayside hotel for a night or two. The young lady at the front counter who checked us in was very pleasant and friendly. She even offered to help us carry our luggage from our car into the hotel. Now that's great service! It rained heavily one night and a lake formed on the north side of the parking area. We had to wait a few hours for the water to subside in order to recover our car. The parking area is shared by a few businesses, and unfortunately, there are large lorries that zoom through like they are on the M1. They aren't affiliated with the hotel, but they affect pedestrian traffic coming and going from the main door. One safety concern is that the long corridor has three fire doors that should normally remain closed, but one of them was frequently held open, and the one farthest from the front desk was impossible to close by hand. These doors are a part of the fire code to protect staff and guests in the event of a fire by limiting the distance it can travel, but when the doors remain open, the desired effect is defeated. All in all, a pleasant stay at this hotel."
