"The hotel has filthy carpets and flooring. The sheets on the bed were dirty and when they came to change them the mattress pad was also filthy. They did move us to a new room which was clean."

"Booked online friday afternoon for a king size for the same night. I get down the road from the hotel around 4 to find a message on my Expedia account saying they are sold out sorry. Turns out they werent sold out when I booked my room, they gave my room away to someone who walked in and didnt tell me until 4. So if your from out of town, you might want to call to make sure your room wasnt given away before you get there."

"The General Denver is a charming hotel in a beautiful old building in the pretty town of Wilmington. We planned an overnight stay when we attended a concert across the street at the Murphy Theater. Certainly couldn't have been more convenient! "I used to come here all the time in the late 2010’s, haven’t been here since maybe 2018? A lot has changed. I LOVE the interior of the rooms, especially the sliding glass doors showers. Found a hair in the bathtub that was mine😅the door leading straight to the pool from the main lobby didn’t work no matter how many times I used both key cards, had to use the side door for entry.
