"We had a wonderful time staying at the Caruso, A Belmond Hotel in Ravello. We were greeted by friendly and warmhearted staffs. We got free upgrade to a suite with balcony viewing of the sea and surrounded with purple wisterias. The suite was spacious and prepared the welcoming champagne and fresh fruits. The hotel had stunning views every corner and the service was impeccable. Unfortunately, we couldn't use the complementary sunset boating tour due to the weather. "

Be aware, however, that the hotel is up a sweep winding hill (nearly impossible to walk), so you need the hotel shuttle or a taxi (expect 20E to Sorrento) to get out. "I wanted to let you know that your apartment and extraordinary kindness made our stay in Salerno just a wonderful visit! This place was just great, as described, and perfectly located. Very comfortable, every amenity one could want and truly only 10 minutes from the train terminal. After our first day, ( with the nice lady help on the phone from test) we were able to navigate the city quite easily. Gulia was just great and did a wonderful job as well.
