"Very professional and friendly staff; easy check in. Fabulous suite room; very large, with fridge, microwave, two TVs, sofa, seats, table. Very clean room and bathroom; also had a small outdoor balcony patio. Very cool place to stay in Orange County. Very clean grounds, with parking near elevators to access rooms; good breakfast. Overall, a gem of a hotel with professional staff. Thank you, we'll stay here again!"

"The pictures featuring the rooms are nicely photoshopped and not what we got… We got an outdated old room with chipped wall and an old bathroom. The room also had an old room smell to it. The shower was installed in a way that the water went towards the back wall and was not adjustable. Warm water was not abundant. At the reception when we checked in they told us that the room has no view. So we did get an upgrade and had then a room with a balcony - which was nice. We could see the ocean further down behind another building that belongs to the hotel. The beds were good and we slept well with the balcony door open - listening to the waves… We were not aware that we had to pay $45 per day for parking our car. They said it’s posted at the end of the Expedia hotel page - where of course no one checks - as it says parking is available…. When we went to the beach no one was at the kiosk to give us towels and a beach lounger. When someone finally came after more than an hour - they were out of towels… Quality of the room does not equal the price we paid. This all said - the hotel is conveniently located central and you can walk everywhere…. We had a great time …."

"Very disappointing three-night stay. The room was not properly cleaned, with visible long black hairs on the towels, sink, nightstands, and pillows. Staff was rude and breakfast service was poorly managed. Although breakfast was advertised until 10 AM, they started removing and locking food away around 9:30 AM. When we asked for basic items like bread and cereal at 9:35, staff acted irritated. The pool and hot tub were much smaller than shown in the photos, and the overall property looked far cheaper and more outdated in person than advertised online. The mattresses were badly worn and sank toward the middle, causing us to roll into the center all night and constantly reposition ourselves. Overall, the hotel does not match its photos, ratings, or advertised quality. We would not stay here again."

"I had a wonderful experience in my 2 night stay. The located is perfect for a quick and direct drive to Laguna Beach. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, clean, and my favorite part: has a refrigerator and microwave so that I could eat my leftovers from local restaurants. I also loved the complimentary breakfast every morning! I had scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes with so many other choices like cereal, waffles, pancakes, muffins and more! It was quiet (I never heard anyone running down hallways or any traffic from nearby roads) from my room. I would definitely stay there again. "

"Booked a room thru Expedia for 1 night. I was charged for incidental upon check in. I checked out this morning and noticed an additional $144.00 fee on my acct. When I called the front desk I was informed the guy who checked me in was "new" and he made a mistake. They told me to reach out to Expedia for reimbursement. They didnt understand that the extra charge was made by the hotel. Asked to speak to the manager was informed Manager "Jordan" went to the bank and wouldn't be back for 2hrs. I called back asked for Jordan and she didnt ask anything she just said it had been fixed and I had to wait 5- 10 days for reimbursement. Proceed to tell me i would be getting partial deposit due to parking. I was never informed or asked if I had a vehicle with me. She didn't try to make it right. When I asked if I can get payment released sooner she got upset and said no and hung up on me. Very unprofessional. Never again. Very disappointing."

"There was maintenance going on in the hallway. Room was clean and well-maintained. AC and blackout blinds were good."
