Hotell Sidi San Juan

Hotellet er i utgangspunktet ett 5 stjernes, men i min mening så havner det på toppen 4. Synes prisen er alt for stiv i forrhold til det man fikk igjen for pengene. Beligenheten er dårlig med tanke på soling, vi var der i mitten av oktober og da hadde vi ca 4 soltimer mot hotellets framside. Er vell mere idielt mittsommers. Stranden var 40m fra hotellet og ren å fin. Som sagt et litt slitent hotell, høy pris men kan anbefales hvis du ikke er ute etter så mye valutta for pengene. Internett kostet 12 euro per dag, men det sår en pc i reseption som kan brukes fritt.

Meget bra hotell med hyggelig betjening ,god service Utsikt og kort vei til fantastisk bra strand Rommet er ikke nodvendigvis fem-stjernes men bra. Hage,anlegg,strand, og maten (frokost,lunjs) er 5 stj. barnevennlig, kort vei til sentrum

couple stars too many

I was told that Sidi San Juan is definitely the best hotel in the area, and the only 5-star one. Well, this may well be true but it does not make the hotel good. It is quite run down and in urgent need of a full-scale renovation. My sense is that this pending closing of the property weighs on its staff moral as they do not much care at best... The access to the beach and the beach itself are very good - the highlight of my stay there. The hotel is located about 20-min walk from the more central area of town where most restaurants and nightlife is concentrated. I quite enjoyed walking back anf forth along the sea shore but some people may find this inconvenient.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand! Unvergleichliche Lage. Das beste Hotel von Alicante für uns.

Die unvergleichliche Lage direkt am Strand ist unbezahlbar. Die Zimmer waren sehr angenehm, der Balkon abends die Wucht, morgens allerdings sehr heiß, da direkte Sonneneinstrahlung. Zimmerservice exzellent und sehr schnell. Der Service an der Rezeption zu jeder Tages- und Nachzeit sehr freundlich, kompetent und schnell! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

fabulous seaviews but dated decor

Sidi Hotel has a priviledged location as a beach resort with direct access to the beach. The seaview from the pool is great and we loved the seaview from our little room terrace (all rooms have seaview). Breakfast was a delicious buffett in a lovely terrace and staff were friendly. The gym albeit small was perfectly funtional .It was nice to also have the option of an indoor pool as the outdoor one was quite small. The main disappointment was the room decor which was dated and tired. Probably when the hotel first open its doors the rooms had a classic and sumptuous air however after years of wear and tear really needs updating. Rooms definately not five stars hotel, possibly four. For a young childless couple we would have preferred something a bit more fresh and contemporaneous looking. In addition to the price paid, we were surprised by all of the extras that were not included (which we expected a five stars hotel to include in the price) like towel service, car park, use of the safe. All in all, I enjoyed a few days of relaxation, it was a quiet athmosphere (mainly over 50's) and a few families with young children and loved the view. If you can bear the dated decor for a great view, great beach and quiet athmospehre then this hotel is the one.

Hotel Sidi San Juan

The Hotel Sidi San Juan is about 25 mins taxi drive from the airport and looks over the Playa de San Juan. Location-wise, the Hotel is set near the end of Playa de San Juan beach which wasn't particularly overcrowded. The beach is access via the Hotel's pool and is very convenient if you need to pop back to your room for supplies. There are a few restaurants near the hotel, but far more if you walk further along the beach towards the centre of the bay. The Hotel itself has very beautiful, and well-kept grounds, as well as having an impressive reception and lobby. The room we stayed in however was just standard- it was clean but the decor was relatively basic. I would say that the room we stayed in was about 3 stars whilst the rest of the hotel was 3.5 - 4 stars. Breakfast was included in our package, and there was a wide range of options to choose from at the buffet. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. On the whole, our stay at the Hotel Sidi San Juan was extremely good value for money and I would recommend it as a very nice hotel to stay in.

Everything was perfect. The only thing is the price. Although breakfast is expensive, it is worth it. The only thing is the barprices. 22€ for 1 liter of (bad) sangria is horrible expensive. A beer for €5 is not cheap either. Outrages expensive prices down at the pool and bar area as well.

Bre hotell. Hade de haft bättre sängar hade det varit i klass med 4-5 stjärnors affärhotell. Lite typiska hårda sängar som vid turistcahrter. Detta är stort minus! I övrigt var allt annat riktigt bra. Fria handukra vid strand och pool. Bra frukost. Unvik dock pool-restaurangen. Maten var inte så bra, trots priset. Det är en bit till Alicante stad. Tenissen kostar ca 30 euro med bollar och rack, kassskåk 3.5 EUro naten. I övrigt inga surprises i extraavgifter. Rekommenderar hotellet för avkoppling.

Sidi San Juan Hotel

Perfekt läge på en av de bästa (?) stränderna i Spanien! Hotellet är stort och lyxigt med trevlig personal. Inredningen i baren/loungen är lite "tacky" men bekväm. Trevligt poolområde (om man vill slippa försäljarna på stranden) med både ute- och inomhuspool. Fantastiskt fin och välskött trädgård runt hotellet. Den italienska restaurangen som ligger bredvid hotellet rekommenderas. På andra sidan gatan från den ligger ett litet snabbköp där man kan handla mat och annat (vi handlade frukost där och sparade in på den dyra hotellfrukosten). Buss (nr 22) in till/från stan går ofta och tar ca 15 min och kostar 1,20 euro. Man kan även åka spårvagn. Taxi från flygplatsen kostade 40 euro (han tog motorvägen) och till flygplatsen 25 euro (han åkte genom stan). Hotellsängarna var lite för hårda för min smak. Väldigt bra vattentryck i duschen och skönt badkar! Dåligt dock att gratis internet inte ingår i rummen. Vi var där i början på juni och då var det lite öde stämning eftersom beläggningen var låg och hotellet så stort. Alicante som stad var en trevlig överraskning!

Bra hotel vid San Juan stranden

Sidi San Juan ligger 6 km utanför centrum av Alicante. Man tar sig lätt ned på stan genom att ta buss 21 eller 22. 22:an stannar på vägen tillbaka inte långt från hotellet. Frukosten var mycket bra. Att kunna dricka färsk apelsinjuice och cava på morgonen är toppen. Påläggen varierade varje morgon. Vi provade ingen annan mat på hotellet. Dock kan man säga att barpriserna är hög. Hotellet utger sig för att vara 5-stjärnigt men 4 är mer rätt. På helgen i maj var hotellet fullt med bröllopsgäster men det störde inte mycket. Det blev även trångt runt den lilla poolen på helgen. Stranden utanför hotellet är mycket finns. Perfekt för gång och jogging. Kantas delvis utav barer och restauranger. Rummen är väl inte direkt toppklass men duger. Balkongen vi hade var i nordlig riktning. Fin utsikt mot stranden men inte mycket sol.

En mycket bra hotell. Polområdet är väldigt mysigt. där finns bar och enklare tilltugg, espresso osv. Havet ligger precis nedanför hotellet, alla balkonger har havsutsikt.. Strandpromenaden är mysig och vi gick ofta längs vattnet där flertalet bra restauranger ligger. Vi hittade en italiensk som var mycket bra. På Hotellet finns badhanddukar att låna. Gymmet är okej men inte mer. inga fria vikter. men det går köra igenom kroppen. Det finns en mindre butik precis utanför hotellet.

Hotellet ligger fantastisk bra til direkte på standen så bedre beliggenhet kan man ikke få. Hotellet trenger imidlertid vedlikehold både utvendig og innvendig. Når bl.a murpussen ramler av verandaene utvendig i store flak er det på høy tid med en ansiktsløftning.

Ved ankomst (bil) fikk vi umiddelbar hjelp til bagasjen, også helt inn på rommet etter rask innsjekk. Hotellets hage(r) er innbydende, med arealer for late aktiviteter. Hotellet har også et utendørs og et innendørs basseng, samt direkte tilgang til lang og innbydende sandstrand. Garasje i umiddelbar nærhet. Strandpromenade med et mangfold av restauranter i lett gangavstand.

Sidi san Juan alicante

Certainement indigne d'un 5 étoiles, plutôt à classer parmi les 4 étoiles...et encore. Une rénovation générale est à envisager sérieusement. Les + sont la piscine couverte et la vue depuis la chambre et cette même piscine. Le petit déjeuner est trés bien et le service trés bon également. J'y reviendrais ? Non c'est certain.

Schönes Hotel mit toller Aussicht

* jedes Zimmer verfügt über einen Balkon mit Meeresblick (der Ausblick und die Lage sind wunderschön), Zimmer sind geräumig, ruhig und sauber; das Bad ist eher klein, der Duschvorhang und die Trenntüre zwischen Bad und WC lässt es zudem billig aussehen ... das ist wahrscheinlich auch der Grund, warum es nicht in der Galerie zu finden ist * wunderschöne, ruhige Lage, aber dennoch direkt an der Strandpromenade, wo sich unzählige Bars und Restaurants befinden * akzeptables Fitnesscenter mit Geräten für Bizeps, Brust, Schulter und Beinpresse, Ergometer und Laufband; Hallenbad und Freibad sorgen für eine angenehme Abkühlung * das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, besonders an der Rezeption * die Getränke sind überteuert, speziell Trinkwasser

sehr schönes Hotel

Das Hotel liegt super! Direkt an einem sehr schönen Sandstrand. Die Sauberkeit in den Zimmern ist nicht so, wie ich es von einem Hotelzimmer in dieser Kategorie erwartet habe. Das Personal war durchgehend äusserst nett und sehr herzlich! Das Frühstück war ok, ich hatte mir aufgrund der vorangegangenen Bewertungen mehr erwartet. Es ist "halt" ein "normales" Frühstück. Ich bin vom Flughafen aus mit dem Bus in die Stadt gefahren und von dort mit der Strassenbahn Nr. 4 bis zur Endstation. Dann musste ich noch ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss gehen. Sehr ok - für ca. 4 Euro. Zurück zum Flughafen bin ich mit dem Taxi gefahren, 35 Euro (allerdings war es nicht die Hauptverkehrszeit und wir kamen sehr gut durch...). Rings um das Hotel ist "nichts" oder ich habe einfach "nichts" gefunden.
