"This hotel has a convenient location near LAX. It is walking distance to the rental car center so we returned the car the night before our flight to save $$. The room was very nice and clean. However, BE WARNED that the free airport shuttle is a poor service. We checked out at 7:45am on Saturday and waited in the lobby for over 30 minutes. Finally the shuttle arrived but it was so full it could only hold 2 people. There were at least 8 of us who needed a ride to the airport. We had to book an Uber. I wish we had taken Uber sooner and not wasted 1/2 hour of our time. Luckily we didn't miss our flight. Take my advice - skip the shuttle and book an Uber or Lyft."
"This hotel has a lot of potential but unfortunately it falls flat due mainly to the service. My boyfriend and I stayed here for his graduation weekend and honestly the hotel caused what should have been a celebratory weekend into a very stressful one.
That afternoon we went down to the valet to get our car to head to the first graduation. It did take a bit to get the car but we ended up being 15-20 min late to USC than expected. Not too bad.
The next morning OMG this is when it got really bad. We woke up at 6am, got ready and went to breakfast right at 7am…no one was there to seat us. Eventually the chef sat us down. Anyways long story short we ended up not getting our food until 7:45am and had to scarf down our meal to get to USC on time again. The waiter gave us a free granola but other people were also in a rush and had gotten no food yet. I thought it was in poor taste to give us something while others were waiting.
We rush to valet, got there at 8:05am but there is no valet there. We ended up sending my BF in an uber. I didn’t get the car until 8:40am. The valet guy was doing car checks so we didn’t see him at the stand until 8:30am. Oh, by the way there was no one at the front desk, nor was anyone answering the phone during this time.
I complained and they offered was to remove the $30 resort fee, not the parking. After a long conversation magically they were able to remove the parking.
We got back that evening and they didn’t even clean the room.
No thanks!"
"My husband and I stayed for 8 days and, at first, I was skeptical because of some of the reviews, but our experience was nothing like that. The room was extremely clean, the elevators were fast, and even though the airport is very close, we could barely hear any planes from our room. We asked to be away from the runway but even in the other side was never very loud.
The only downside is that parking is extremely expensive. However, there is a private parking area behind the hotel for $24. Keep in mind that they charge $24 every time you exit, but since we only used the car once a day, it worked out perfectly for us."
"Sink has a kinda weird design. Water would bounce out if hands were positioned at an angle. Nice place. Clean, nice staff. Wallet kinda pricey but good service. Close walk to convention center"
"Check in felt like a nightmare :( The person who was checking us in was dismissive to us saying that the card reader wasn’t taking cards despite the cards we tried having money MULTIPLE TIMES. Sends over to another computer and it works. Then sends us in an all around unhelpful loop to find our room which had a super disappointing view 😭if you aren’t above the 3 the floor, I would NOT recommend this hotel if you want a view of literally anything."
