"I stayed at the River Hills Motel after traveling to the Wisconsin area for a wedding. It was a perfect fit. There is plenty of parking, easy check-in with plenty of messages back and forth about how to retrieve your room number and key (it is essentially automated), and the room was spotless. The water pressure and towels were outstanding compared to your normal, branded hotels! Make sure to stop at Caffe Tlazo for breakfast - coffee and sandwiches were outstanding. The only reason I rate it a 4 - and it is half my fault certainly - is the lack of early check-in. The motel was certainly busy, so totally understandable, but based on my schedule, I certainly needed early check-in to get ready for wedding activities and it was not available. But the motel was absolutely outstanding - totally worth it for the price if you are in the area and need a place to stay."

"Room wise we were happy with everything. The restaurant, while somewhat busy on a Friday night, clearly needed a management team. There was no host/hostess and the bartender was also waiting tables. Customers were waiting to get a table in plain view of a number of open tables and then waiting for their bill. Very bad service 😒 One other thing is that the menu provided in the room was not current. The menu in the room did not reflect the actual menu in the restaurant either."

"Great affordable no frills resort for families or fishermen. Comfortable rooms. I had the studio cottage which was perfect for 1-2 people. It was clean and modern, though it did have a pretty musty smell inside. I can't say enough about the restaurant and staff. Top notch food and view. Great service. Great location."
