"What a fun place to stay! From the moment we walked in greeted by Toad (and his owner), we felt very comfortable here. The little retro details all added up to a friendly 3 night stay. The co-owners and staff are just as friendly as Toad but they work a lot harder to make your stay enjoyable. Just remember, you are staying in an old school motel, not the Hyatt Regency. Be nice!"

"This is a very nice hotel, in a wonderful location. Across the street from Lake Michigan, with a great breakfast restaurant - Anchor Down Family Restaurant- just a block away. The room I had was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!"

"The property was in a great location. Seeing the lake every day was beautiful. Food in the restaurant was good with many choices. Being able to walk the dogs around the property and dining outside with them was nice. Evening music in the bar area was a bonus. The rooms weren’t fancy but were comfortable "
