"If you are someone like me that can't abide ear plugs you won't enjoy much rest. The surroundings aren't very pleasant despite the efforts of the hotel proprietor. Algiers is an hour away only because the traffic makes it difficult to access. If your business or pleasure is in centre of Algiers it is too far out with the heavy traffic to be practical and you will spend far too much time choking on fumes in traffic.
