"$5k/week for what is essentially a thin walled two bedroom apartment in a very high density complex. Resort amenities were available - in the main building. No room service breakfast. They offer golf cart rides down the cliffside path to the beach, but they repeatedly forgot or ignored my daughter's and my request for said ride. We were chased from the pool area by a group of about 10 local non-guest high school kids who jumped the fence and made themselves at home. This seems like a popular place for South Bay families with kids. I doubt we will return."

"The room was not pleasant. One of the drawers kept opening up for no reason. The shower seemed old and dirty. The carpet seemed like they were never washed. Simply, it was not worth the money and the number of stars. "

The room itself was fine, and the property is clean. But the lack of transparency around fees and the blanket policy that ignores the distinction between pets and emotional support animals left a bad taste. If you’re going to market yourself as pet friendly, at minimum be upfront about the costs. A $100 fee for one night is steep, and finding out at check-in is a frustrating way to start a stay. Travelers with ESAs, take note — call ahead and confirm the fee policy before booking, because “pet friendly” here doesn’t mean what you might expect."
