"Great little hotel! Very clean and well maintained. The room was very nice and clean. It had all you need. Each room has a little porch with a pick-nick table. The property has an off-leash dog area that was nice but I didn’t realize it was there until right before we left. The room was great but there was no staff on-site when we arrived and check-in was kinda complicated bc the door has a lock with a code, no key(s). The keypad was extremely sensitive and it locked out after the first attempt so we had to wait a few mims before we could get into our room. After that, it was great! Ennis is close by. I recommend Gravel Bar!"

"The lodge was a nice the only draw back I had with it was that it was in town and was super noisy at night had trouble sleeping. The staff were amazing when I checked in and we ate at the lodge our waiter was amazing as well. All and the stay was good."

"We were so lucky to snag the last available room at this hotel on the same day! Great location if Yellowstone is the goal, amazing price, very friendly staff and nicely decorated rooms. But most importantly… CLEAN rooms! Finding clean hotel rooms was an absolute nightmare on our road trip from Colorado to the West Coast and back. This was hands-down, the best hotel we stayed in."

"This is a beautiful resort in a quiet mountain setting. We were here during the summer so can't speak to what it is like for a ski vacation but from what we can see it looks conveniently located to the ski runs and there is a gondola that goes from the hotel to the ski resort. Our room was comfortable and clean. We had a beautiful view and I would have given it 5 stars if we could utilize the view full time. Unfortunately the room faced the check in/ drive up to the hotel and so unless you want every guest to see into your room as they drive up, you have to keep your curtains closed most of the time. That was disappointing but when we could keep the curtains open the view was amazing. Service is good and food is good - in room dining is available 24x7 which is a plus. There were a number of times we couldn't reach anyone in guest services or room service however (no one picked up) and so that was a bit frustrating. Other than that service was great and everyone was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend the stargazing experience in the hotel's own observatory dome. There is an actual astronomer on staff. We will definitely come back and just pick a different room."
